SCENECREST SANGUINE STALLION WITH THE OLD BLOODLINES Of PECOS--JUBILEE KING-- FLAXEN STALLION

Sanguine will no longer stand to outside mares but will continue to be bred to my mares. I have given much thought before deciding to close Sanguine's book to outside mares, it has just become to time consuming now without the help of my sons having married and moved out. Sire: Springtyme Sealect was a Champion In-Hand Stallion Sealect's Sire: Applevale Don Lee placed in the Top Ten at the Nationals Dam: Spring Breeze dam of Helen of Troy by Ulendon

Breeder of Morgan Horses since 1974.  I chose the bloodlines of: CORNWALLIS who was a long lived stallion that stayed sound throughout his long life and passed it on to his offspring, Pecos his son was an excellent example of this. Jubilee King was last owned by Frances Byrant in South Woodstock, VT, there he sired the great stallion Jubilee Courage when bred to Townshend Lass. I never was able to see these horses in person but owned a grandson of theirs in Springtyme Sealect who lived to be 30 1/2 years old, was rode extensively and remained sound to the last day. The Applevale horses were my favorites.  I researched Applevale lines to find a connection to these above horses.  I then discovered every horse I liked had these same two horses in their background. Sometimes, I had to go back 5 generations before I found them, which truely shows their prepotency. Prepotency is what made Justin Morgan the horse great.

Cornwallis was chose to be one of the foundation stallions of the modern day Lippitt. Cornwallis was sired by Sealect, a beautiful Stallion with High Natural Morgan Action. Jubilee King was sired by Penrod, a very special Stallion with exceptional personality. Though both of these Stallions are now gone. You can see their likeness today in modern day Morgans, just like the first Morgan, Justin Morgan or Figure as his original owner called him. Justion sired his likeness then and it is carried today in so many lines. Proud to continue with these wonderful Morgan lines. Other Lines include Upwey Ben Don--Ulendon--Lippitt
